Last night, Israel launched a horrific, illegal attack on Iran, in the heart of its capital, Tehran, killing scores of civilians. Israel carried out targeted assassinations of top leaders, scientists, and a negotiator involved in diplomatic talks with the U.S.
My family is trapped in Tehran, but alive. I am writing to you and communicating with them, because I know that what we do in the U.S. to stop a full-scale war on Iran will affect their survival, as well as others in Iran.
