Good Trouble Lives On Oakland
The passage of the recent budget reconciliation bill with steep cuts to Medicaid is a stark reminder that the fight for health care justice is far from over. These rollbacks, driven by the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress, are a direct attack on communities already struggling.
We’ve seen the harm of an unjust health care system — and now is the time to stand up and take action to keep the fight for our rights moving forward.
We’re inviting you to join us on July 17th for the Good Trouble Lives On event in Oakland, part of a nationwide day of action to respond to the attacks on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration.
This is our time to come together in solidarity. By showing up in our communities — in the streets, courthouses, and in public spaces — we’ll send a powerful message to lawmakers: we won’t stand by while lives are on the line.
Join us July 17 for the Good Trouble Lives On National Day of Nonviolent Action in Oakland. This is part of actions happening across the country, marking the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s death. We are coming together to defend our democracy and carry forward the legacy of Good Trouble. As nurses, we must stand up to the fascist federal administration as it leads attacks on our civil and human rights that harm our communities and patients.
