2. Tuesday, 6:00pm, BAY AREA: ALL EYES ON GAZA, RISE UP FOR OUR MARTYRS!
Union Square
SF
With an impending ground invasion in Gaza City, the occupation deliberately targeted journalists in Gaza including Anas al-Sharif in a calculated assault aimed at silencing Gaza’s voice. The occupation is attempting to sever Gaza’s lifeline to the world by targeting journalists and to isolate Gaza completely.
These are the names of the latest Journalists targeted for covering the on-going genocide in Gaza
REST IN POWER
Anas Al-sharif
Ibrahim Zaher
Mohammed Noufal
Moamen Aliwa
Mohammed Qreigeh
The Israeli military made a statement after the assassination, claiming responsibility for the intentional targeting of Anas. Before he was martyred, Anas was warning about the impending ground invasion in to Gaza City, calling on the world to take action. We must take action.
The Bay Area is answering the call to action to rise up for our martyrs. Join us TOMORROW to demand accountability for the assasination of journalists and an end to the genocide in Gaza

6. Friday, 8:30am, Mass Action at Wells Fargo’s Global HQ
333 Market St.
SF
We’re shutting down Wells Fargo again.
A couple weeks ago, we put Wells Fargo on notice. Protestors blockaded every entrance to their global corporate HQ for hours, keeping dozens of employees from helping their bosses bankroll fossil fuels and genocide. Then, last week, a rowdy picket line and noise demo caused a serious commotion, calling out Wells Fargo for financing Palantir and Elbit Systems, companies enabling the genocide and mass starvation in Gaza.
Now we’re coming back and turning the pressure up even higher.
We’ll shut them down again with a powerful, noisy action that involves delivering a petition with tens of thousands of signatures, demanding that Wells Fargo:
*Reinstate its climate targets
* Stop union busting
* Back off our public post office
* Commit to racial equity
*And stop financing ICE contractors and weapons manufacturers carrying out atrocities in Gaza
Joining us will be delegates from the Gulf South, a region on the frontlines of climate disaster, representing communities hit hardest by the fossil fuel projects that Wells continues to underwrite. And Scientists Rebellion will speak out on how Wells’ investments are pushing us deeper into ecological and social collapse.
Wells Fargo is a key player in the web of billionaire finance, corporate violence, and climate destruction. We’re demanding accountability and directly challenging their role in rising authoritarianism and repression.

7. Saturday, 12 Noon, 80 Years of Occupation – US Out of Korea
Eastshore Park
Oakland
SIX cities across the US will mark the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonialism with a national day of action for the US Out of Korea campaign.
August 15, known as Liberation Day in Korea, marks the end of the Japanese occupation of Korea in 1945. Liberation Day is bittersweet for the Korean people, because as Japanese colonialism ended, the ongoing US occupation and division of our homeland began.
August 15th also marks the start of the annual Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises, a massive series of US-led war games in Korea that rehearse invasion, regime change, and war crimes.
While the US claims these exercises as “defensive”, the real content of these war drills proves otherwise—during Ulchi Freedom Shield, the US and South Korea will deliberately provoke Pyongyang with simulated invasions of North Korea, which in the past has included drills practicing the use of nuclear weapons against the Korean people.
In response, progressive organizations, trade unions, and political parties in South Korea will mobilize hundreds of thousands of people on August 15th to demand an end to US-ROK military exercises and protest the recent US-ROK tariff deal, which plunders hundreds of billions of dollars from the South Korean economy to pad the pockets of US corporations.
Popular anger against Trump and the US is spreading in South Korea. As our people mobilize, we in the belly of the beast must answer in turn: join Nodutdol and allied organizations on August 15th as we echo their demands in NYC, Philly, DC, Seattle, Oakland, and Los Angeles!
