ICE agents in Chicago

Save America Movement Oct 23, 2025 This footage captures the moment an ICE agent aimed a rifle directly at one of our photojournalists. This was not an isolated incident but the culmination of a large, aggressive, multi-agency operation in Chicago’s predominantly Hispanic neighborhood of Little Village. After receiving reports of initial arrests on the main street, our rapid-response team followed ICE to a local shopping complex. The situation quickly escalated as agents from ICE and Border Patrol, supported by CPD, began using militarized tactics against community members. As seen in the video, agents deployed smoke bombs into the crowd and aimed weapons indiscriminately at locals and our team. All the while, low-flying helicopters circled overhead, adding to the chaos and intimidation. We documented masked agents pulling individuals out of the crowd and forcing them into unmarked vehicles, creating an atmosphere of fear and confusion. This is precisely why Operation Liberty exists. We deploy our rapid-response Liberty Vans to be present, to witness, and to document these events as they unfold. When federal agents operate with impunity, the camera is the community’s most powerful tool for accountability. Our teams are trained to bear witness and provide a protective presence, ensuring these actions do not happen in the dark.
