Google is profiting off of Israel’s genocide of Palestinians!
This has been named the first AI-powered genocide. Google’s “Project Nimbus” is a 1.2 Billion dollar contract that provides powerful AI tools to Israel, making Google directly complicit in this genocide.
As the brutal military siege on Gaza has escalated and taken tens of thousands of Palestinian lives, Google has ramped up internal pressure within the company to silence the voices of workers of conscience demanding an end to Project Nimbus.

Join Bayan USA, Malaya Movement USA, Kabataan Alliance, and ICHRP USA for an online speakout against further greenwashing, plunder, and militarization of the Philippines!
The Section 123 nuclear agreement signed between the US and Philippine governments last month would allow the US to export nuclear technology and material to Manila. While President Marcos Jr. claims the so-called “peaceful nuclear cooperation” to be an alternative energy solution for the Philippines, in reality this deal will only worsen the social and economic crises oppressing Filipinos and compromise the safety of their lives and lands. Join us to learn more about why we must oppose this deal and how to get involved in fighting back in your region!

Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza Resolution for the Executive Board, ILWU Local 10
Whereas, the ILWU has always defended Palestinian rights; and
Whereas, In 1988 & 1991 the ILWU Convention passed multiple resolutions in the Liberation of Palestinian people; and
Whereas, Local 10 took action in defense of Palestinian rights when the Israeli army bombed the headquarters of Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank in February 2002; and
Whereas, in 2010, 2014 and 2021, Local 10 did not work ships of Israeli Zim Line ships when there were protests against the repression of the Palestinians, and in the last case notified other locals on the Coast that this was “hot cargo” from Zim; and
Whereas, the repression of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza is worse than the conditions in South Africa under apartheid; and
Whereas, this October 7, Hamas organized a breakout attack from Gaza after which nearly 1,300 Israeli civilians were killed in an indefensible attack. The UN calls Gaza an “open air prison” of 2.2 million Palestinians. Under such repressive conditions it is no surprise that there would inevitably be a rebellion but this in no way justifies Israel’s genocidal bombing of civilians in Gaza, now approaching 10,000 mostly children, women and innocent civilians; and
Whereas, the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions has made an appeal to unions worldwide for solidarity with the Palestinians; and
Whereas, the ILWU Local 5 Executive board along with other Unions like UE, UAW 2865, OEA, have all passed resolutions calling for Ceasefire in Gaza and the rest of Palestine;
Therefore be it resolved, that in this dire emergency Local 10 demand a ceasefire of Gaza & send a message to the PGFTU expressing our solidarity and our determination to take action in their defense consistent with our actions in the past and ILWU’s principled position of defending Palestinian rights.
Therefore may it be further resolved, that ILWU Local 10 call on elected officials demanding a ceasefire, and an end to the Israeli Apartheid.
Be it finally resolved, that ILWU Local 10 send a copy of this resolution to the ILWU international and district councils encouraging them to pass similar resolutions. We additionally call on other trade unions both nationally and internationally to support the PGFTU, a ceasefire and an end to Israeli apartheid oppression.

10. Sunday, 2:00pm, Film: Roadmap to Apartheid & the Struggle Today Against US Funded Israeli Genocide
Companeros Del Barrio
474 Valencia St.
SF
Roadmap To Apatheid expose the connection between the South Africa apartheid regime.
With a comparison between apartheid South Africa and the Israel/Palestine conflict, this doc traces the future of one conflict from the past weaving the history of apartheid into the complex issues facing Israelis and Palestinians.
It also looks at the Israeli trade union Histadrut. The Histadrut supported apartheid regime in South Africa and supports the racist apartheid system. The AFL-CIO leadership also support the Histadrut and the Zionist regime and have been silent about the genocide.
In this tour de force video, award winning documentary, two first-time directors, a white South African and a Jewish Israeli, use their own experiences to examine the apartheid analogy commonly used to describe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Narrated by Alice Walker (The Color Purple), Roadmap to Apartheid is as much a historical document of the rise and fall of apartheid in South Africa, as it is a film about why Palestinians feel they are living in an apartheid system today, and why an increasing number of people worldwide are beginning to agree with them.
The film compares the many similar laws and tools used by both Israel and apartheid-era South Africa, and also points out where the analogy is less applicable. The audience will see what life is like for Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and inside Israel while gaining a deeper understanding of the conflict with the help of respected analysts. Combined with archival material and anecdotes from South Africans, the film forms a complete picture as to why the analogy is being used with increasing frequency and potency.

11. Sunday, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Book Discussion on Ten Myths About Israel at Revolution Books
Revolution Book
2444 Durant Ave.
Berkeley
In this world, which is tearing apart, with raging genocide and fascists coming to power, revolution is urgently needed – and possible. For real and lasting change, we need to understand the real history of this country and Israel.
The outspoken and radical Israeli historian Ilan Pappe examines the most contested ideas concerning the origins and identity of the contemporary state of Israel.
This book addresses key questions crucial for everyone who wants to find out about the reality of Israel and to stand with humanity. Pappe examines the “ten myths” including:
· Before the creation of Israel, Palestine was an empty land, and the Jews were a people without a land.
· Zionism and Judaism are the same.
· Zionism is not a colonial project of occupation.
· The Palestinians left their Homeland voluntarily in 1948.
· Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.
