1. Monday, 8:30am,- 12N San Francisco: Healthcare Workers for Ceasefire!
SF City Hall
1 Dr. Carleton B Goodlett Pl
SF
Bay Area Healthcare Workers! This is a critical week to push for the SF Ceasefire Resolution and there are many things you can do to get involved‼️ Join us for a powerful event on Jan 8 at 8:30am in SF City Hall to support the BOS passing the SF Ceasefire Resolution. At 8:30am, we will be filming an homage to our colleagues who have been killed in Gaza. We are asking all healthcare workers to come in their professional attire (scrubs/white coats/symbols of our profession), with masks as this is indoors. We are honored to be joined by local musician @naimashalhoub and performance/visual poet @adrian_arias.sf .
At 10am we will proceed to the Rules Committee to offer public comment on the SF Ceasefire Resolution. Find out all the ways you can support the passing of this resolution next week. Check out the toolkit here and activate with us! bit.ly/SFCeasefireBOS

2. Monday, 9:00am – 12Noon, San Francisco Ceasefire Resolution @ Rules Committee
SF City Hall (Room 250, 2nd Fl)
1 Dr. Carleton B. Goodlett Pl.
SF
the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Rules Committee will decide whether or not to send the SF cease-fire resolution to the full board of supervisors for a possible vote. There are three supervisors on the board – Supervisor Matt Dorsey, Supervisor Shamann Walton and Supervisor Ahsha Safai. At least 2 of these supervisors need to vote YES to send the resolution onto the full board on January 9th.
It is imperative that as many people as possible show up on January 8th at 10AM (SHOW UP EARLY) in room 250 in San Francisco City Hall to make our voices heard and make sure that the resolution is sent to the full board of supervisors for a vote on Tuesday, January 9th.
Pro-war lobbyists are attempting to pressure the SF BOS to vote NO on the ceasefire resolution. They’re also pressuring the BOS to introduce racist “amendments” that further war propaganda, dehumanize Palestinians, and justifies further bloodshed.
We need as many people to come in-person to city hall tomorrow, Monday, Jan 8th by 9am for public comment and demand:
• Vote on Tuesday
• Vote YES
• NO AMENDMENTS
Healthcare workers will be showing up to show their support for the resolution, and we should be there to support them and see that the resolution moves on to the full board. Public comment will be allowed at this rules committee meeting. LET’S MAKE SURE THAT OUR SAN FRANCISCO OFFICIALS CALL FOR A CEASEFIRE!! SHOW UP EARLY!!
