In remembrance of Executive Order 9066, signed by FDR on February 19, 1942, and led to mass incarceration of Japanese Americans, German Americans, Italian Americans, Japanese Latin Americans, and the Aluet – Nikkei Resisters invites you to honor this history through taking action in community.
We will be writing postcards demanding:
– an end to the siege on Gaza, and end to US military aid to Israel,
– and for charges against pro-Palestinian be dropped.
We will also be folding origami tsuru for altar making to honor and remember the lives of the over 28,000 people killed by Israel. Wearing keffiyehs encouraged.

We call on the Bay Area to flood the streets of San Francisco. We demand an immediate ceasefire to stop the genocide in Gaza and to end all U.S. aid to the genocidal state of Israel. This “Presidents’ Day,” we rise to remind the world that Biden is responsible for Israel’s genocide against Palestinians, through direct support in military aid to the genocidal occupation, through political cover and misinformation. We do not appeal to their conscience.
There will be no business as usual until our demands are met. The Zionist occupation force’s latest genocidal assault has targeted Rafah, the southernmost city in Gaza that currently holds over 1.5 million Palestinians, the majority of whom are repeatedly displaced from elsewhere in Gaza and Palestine.
Hundreds have been murdered and injured in the U.S. backed airstrikes, massacring families, destroying homes, and mosques, where many have been sheltering. Nothing justifies this and Biden and US imperialism are complicit! Biden’s legacy will be genocide but we will NOT allow it to be ours.

On Monday February 19, 2024 San Francisco residents, safety advocates, trade unionists and workers will hold a press conference to demand that all Waymo autonomous driverless vehicle be immediately removed from the streets.
Despite the reckless action of the GM owned Cruise robo car company to violate the DMV rules in San Francisco and cover up the accident that dragged a pedestrian more than 20 feet, Governor Newsom’s DMV and CPUC continue to allow these driverless vehicles on the streets of San Francisco and they want to allow them to go to the peninsula and SFO
The criminal cover-up of the accident by Cruise has also been unprotected by Governor Newsom’s supporter San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins. If a pedestrian tried to cover up the records of their accident they would be charged criminally yet SF DA Brooke Jenkins refuses to prosecute the executives of Cruise who were responsible for this criminal negligence and reckless behavior.
The recent attack and burning of a $200,000 Waymo robo taxi in Chinatown is a reflection of the growing anger and disgust that the people of San Francisco have for this threat to their health and safety by a governor that does not care what the people have to say about these driverless vehicles and instead is only listening to Google and his corporate funders.
Google owned Waymo like GM owned Cruise also have been allowed to violate the the DMV rules by Governor Newsom’s DMV and CPUC. They have said that these vehicles if they violate DMV driving rules will not be held accountable and no tickets will be issued.
Speakers will address Governor Newsom’s flagrant violation of DMV rules by his hand picked CPUC and his appointed director of the DMV. These agencies continue to be allowed other regulate themselves despite the dangers to the public.

Senators Padilla and Butler are scheduled to return to California for the first time after voting to send another $14.5 billion to fund Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.

With $14.5 billion, Israel now understands it has a blank check to continue its genocide. In less than 24 hours, the IDF has killed over 100 Palestinians in Rafah. DA Gacon (at the time) declined to file criminal charges against the officers. DA Jenkins let the attorney go who was working pm the case under Chesea Boudin.
March 21, 2024 will be the 10th Anniversary of Alex’s murder.
There is still no justice for Alex nor other victims of police terror in SF!
