Your weekly to-dos

1. Find a No Kings protest to join this Saturday — and help make October 18 the biggest day of peaceful protest in modern US history. We have even more events planned on Saturday than we did for the first No Kings Day in June, putting us on track for a truly historic day of defiance! Make your plan to join today, and then invite a few people to join you.
2. Check out the No Kings training + resource library to make your local event big, safe, and successful! All week long, Indivisible and our partners are preparing you for No Kings Day with calls/trainings covering everything from event promotion, to strategic organizing, to safety and de-escalation.
3. Email your Democratic senator(s) and tell them to hold the line in this Trump Shutdown showdown. So far, all but three Senate Dems and Independents — Cortez Masto, Fetterman, and King — have held the line against Trump’s dangerous budget. We need to let them know we’re behind them as long as they keep fighting hard!
4. Volunteer for a virtual phonebank to help Dems win big in Virginia this fall. We’re making 1,000,000 calls to voters to help VA Democrats build a vital defense against Trump’s authoritarian overreach — a Democratic trifecta in his own backyard! All you need is your phone and a computer. Join a live phonebank training here.
