This Monday, we’ll focus on how to use (or rather not use!) our hard earned money to demand for a ceasefire on Gaza and an end to the occupation of Palestine. We will learn from organizers behind the BDS Movement as well as hear from our very own, Jodie Evans, who will talk about the “Don’t Buy Bush’s War” campaign from the Iraq war era and how we can use those same strategies today. As an antiwar community we’ll come together to say:

Jodie Evans: as CODEPINK co-founder Jodie is no stranger to organizing to end war. During the opposition to the Iraq War, CODEPINK and allies were forced to use every tool in the toolbook to try to end the illegal and deadly invasion of Iraq. One of those strategies was organizing around war tax resistance. While boycotts are highly effective, they are not the only way to use our economic power to be heard!
