This kick-off event will feature Gar Smith, the editor of the new anthology The War and Environment Reader, Paul Cox of Veterans for Peace, and our own Haley Pedersen, CODEPINK staffer, who will speak about our new divestment campaign. Mark your calendars for this groundbreaking event now! A long-time activist with rich experience in a range of movements, Gar brings an urgent focus on the damage military violence in conflicts on regional—and global—ecosystems.
