| It’s hard to believe the Healthy California Commission for All Commission (HCAC) is wrapping up their meetings and on the verge of issuing their report that we hope will chart a path forward to a “unified financing system” (aka: single-payer).

Tomorrow, Thursday at 10am to 1:30pm Pacific will be our chance to put forward a vision for how we get there. The HCAC will be taking public and written comments on what the transition to single payer should include and we need your voice!
Here’s the agenda and you can choose a talking point or two that you like and make it your own with a personal story. Public comment is typically 1 minute, but you can also give longer written comments by emailing HealthyCAforAll@chhs.ca.gov. We know it’s going to be a lot of work to shift our healthcare system to one that guarantees healthcare for all and saves billions (see report on page 10), but in the face of an ongoing pandemic — we cannot afford to wait any longer.
