Big news.
CVS just announced the date of their annual shareholder meeting, the biggest day in their corporate calendar.
This is a key organizing moment, and we need your help to turn up the heat before and during the meeting.
First, we’re organizing a national day of action on Saturday, May 7, at CVS stores across the country just four days before the shareholder meeting on May 11 to call on CVS Health to stop funding anti-Medicare for All efforts.
As someone who has supported our campaign against CVS before, we’re asking if you’re willing to step up and host a socially distanced crowd canvassing event to talk to CVS customers outside of a CVS near you.
After you sign up, you’ll be invited to join a training call to learn more. We’ll provide you with materials, support, and help to spread the word about your event.
We really need volunteers to host these events so we can cover as many stores as possible. The more actions we have, the more pressure we can generate on CVS before their meeting.
Not only are we organizing these actions on May 7, we have some big plans for the day of the meeting itself – stay tuned for more details from us on that soon.
Together we can demand that CVS cut its ties with the largest corporate front group fighting against Medicare for All, the Partnership for America’s Healthcare Future (PAHCF).
Thank you for stepping up, and we look forward to seeing these powerful actions come together across the country.
Let’s do this,
Max Cotterill
