Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. understood that true freedom meant more than legal equality. It required a society where everyone had access to food, shelter, and dignity. He believed that “everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” This year, SF Democrats will honor his legacy by volunteering with GLIDE to prepare and distribute meals for our neighbors in need. As part of our Democrats on the Move campaign, we’ve seen how organizations like GLIDE face increased demand while confronting potential funding cuts. We hope you’ll join us that Monday morning!
