Ballots should be arriving in the mail this week and must be returned by Feb 15.
Starting tomorrow, January 18th, the City Hall Voting Center opens for in-person voting and ballot drop-off and 34 official ballot drop boxes are open in neighborhoods across the city.
THE RIGHT WING IS TRYING TO DESTROY PUBLIC EDUCATION IN SAN FRANCISCO! They have forced a special election to consider recalling 3 San Francisco School Board members just months before the regularly scheduled election. Recalls are a waste of money and a threat to democracy. SFUSD has to pay for this unnecessary special election, which will take millions of dollars out of the school budget. It would take away voters’ voice, forcing the Mayor to appoint new board members. A successful recall would also be a win for school privatizers and conservative interests.
