This morning, Democrats in Congress are hosting a Medicare for All shadow hearing — a walk-through of what it will look like in the Capitol when we finally have the votes to pass guaranteed health care.
The hearing features expert witnesses, including NNU President Jamie Brown, RN, who will explain how our health care system is broken and how Medicare for All will fix it.

While this is a big step in our effort to pass guaranteed health care, a shadow hearing won’t change the law. For that, we need more Members of Congress to support Medicare for All. That’s where you come in.
Our elected leaders need to know their constituents demand guaranteed health care — which is why we’re reaching out to them directly.
We’ll connect you directly to your members’ offices and give you a script. All you need to do is pick up the phone.
Our call tool will let you know if your members of Congress are or aren’t Medicare for All co-sponsors. If your members are not co-sponsors, urge them to support guaranteed health care by signing on as a co-sponsor of the legislation. If they are already co-sponsors, thank them for their support and ask them to make passing single-payer health care a top priority.
