After U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has decided to eliminate Department of Justice (DOJ) Community Oriented Policing (COPS) program, ask the Board of Supervisors who is going to oversee SFPD’s reporting and progress on the DOJ COPS report (which lays out recommendations based on SFPD’s poor performance as a racist, brutal, dysfunctional department). The City of SF agreed that the police department must comply with the DOJ COPS report. After the DOJ pulls out, who will oversee this?
