Progressive Democrats of America will be holding a forum on the status of SB 562 and single-payer healthcare in CA. Speakers will include Laksh from the Berniecrats. Main contact: Jim Cowan at jlcowan@mindspring.com.
- The PDA SF forum this Thursday is on “A Budget for The People”, and will feature a number of progressive speakers discussing budget proposals on the federal and local levels. I will be giving a 10-minute update on SB 562 at the beginning, but SB 562 is not the focus. Sorry about the miscommunication, and thanks to Jim for correcting me! I’d erroneously thought there would be multiple speakers on healthcare. –Laksh
