Officer Elections

It’s that time of the year again—officer elections are upon us! It’s not too late if YOU want to step up and help lead our club through this critical election year. You can nominate yourself or any other San Francisco Berniecrats member in good standing. We’re especially seeking candidates for moderator, recorder, events and fundraising coordinator, community outreach coordinator, communications coordinator, and legal adviser.

Multilingual Voter Guide Distribution

We’re especially proud of our popular multilingual voter guides—but they don’t hand themselves out! While there are mobilizations at which we distribute the guides, members are also free to hand them out themselves. If you’re interested in distributing our voter guides, please contact Winnie Porter at (415) 994-1728 or Laura Goldin at (415) 407-1379.

Upcoming Mobilizations for DCCC Labor and Working Families Slate

We’re really excited about the Berniecrat-endorsed Labor and Working Families slate running for San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC). Our outgoing co-chair, Joshua Rudy Ochoa, is among the outstanding progressive candidates on the slate. You can sign up to volunteer for mobilizations here; they are:

Amid mounting right-wing attacks on our local judiciary, it’s more important than ever to support our endorsed candidates for San Francisco Superior Court judges, incumbents Michael Begert and Patrick Thompson. Mobilizations for Judge Begert are:

What have the Berniecrats been up to?

Rallying for a Cease-Fire in Gaza

Berniecrats took part in the worldwide January 14 protests against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, rallying and marching with thousands in San Francisco and demanding an immediate cease-fire and end to Israeli crimes of apartheid, occupation, ethnic cleansing, settler colonization, and genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
