TELL WELLS FARGO: SANCTUARY
HOUSING FUND NOW!
Thursday October 26, 3:30 PM
Gather at 3rd and King (in front of the Lucky Strike)
While San Francisco’s most vulnerable working class communities continue to be displaced, Wells Fargo, which helped cause the housing crisis with its predatory lending and foreclosures, refuses to meet with affected communities. Meanwhile, scandal after scandal comes out making it clear that Wells Fargo has a culture of fleecing its customers.
Join us as we demand that Lloyd Dean, Wells Fargo board member and head of the bank’s Corporate Responsibility Committee, to meet with affected community members and create a $35 million Sanctuary Housing Fund to keep homeowners and tenants in San Francisco. Come out to tell him that it doesn’t show much “corporate responsibility” to fleece your customers and allow San Franciscans to be thrown on the street.
