We invite you to join Democracy Spring, June 9-11 in Chicago, IL where we’ll:
- Join together with leaders of the progressive movement for plenaries & workshops on the most pressing issues of our time
- Help deliver a nonviolent direct action training
- Co-host a film premiere that prominently features Democracy Spring’s work: Waking The Sleeping Giant.
The Summit itself will include sessions covering both Democracy Spring’s core issues, as well as the full breadth of the progressive movement: from voting rights & big money corruption, to issues like mass incarceration, climate justice, free higher education, ending deportation, and more.
There will be action, learning, music, and opportunities to meet other Democracy Spring volunteer leaders and supporters. Oh, and speakers like Bernie Sanders, Naomi Klein, Frances Fox Piven, Amy Goodman, and many more.
