1. Saturday, 1:00pm, BAY AREA EMERGENCY ACTION STAND AGAINST TRUMP’S ETHNIC CLEANSING! JORDAN AND EGYPT, REJECT THE PLAN!
Powell Street BART Plaza
Powell St & Market St.
SF
In a press conference with Jordan’s King Abdullah Il, Donald Trump announced his intentions in plain and unequivocal terms: “We’re going to take it,” he said of Gaza. “We’re going to hold it.”
While Trump threatens “all hell” breaking out on Saturday at noon in his attempt to sabotage the ceasefire agreement, Israel continues to violate every provision of the agreement, as Trump threatens the Jordanian and Egyptian governments to get them to betray the will of their own people in allowing the forcible ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
The ceasefire violations and the looming threats of forcible expulsion and a return to war cannot go unchallenged. We must come together to refuse the continuation of these war crimes with our tax dollars and in our names. Our movement is at a crucial juncture, and we must take to the streets like never before.
Join in the call for an international day of action February 15, where we will take a stand against Trump’s plan for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza, and demand Jordan and Egypt do not give in to Trump’s treacherous plan.

SF

All are welcomed.
UPDATE Feb. 14th: Judge Chhabria dismissed and closed our case on Feb 10. The sole reason the Judge gave for dismissal was because we raised a “political” issue before the court and courts may only address “legal” issues. We vehemently disagree with his finding. Our filing clearly demonstrates the legal nature of our complaint extensively.
Our “people’s response” was accepted as a valid document on the court record. Importantly, his dismissal said nothing about our case being frivolous; and he even admitted that there was an off-chance that we may be able to establish standing. The absurd logic is that the Legislative and Executive Branches of government have the impunity to violate human rights, not to mention perpetrate genocide, without being held accountable by the Judicial Branch. This dismissal is important for our political and legal work moving forward to the international arena

| The Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity invites you to a Reaffirming Sanctuary Interfaith Press Conference and Vigil on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11 AM in San Francisco. Join hundreds of people from various faith traditions in this powerful public witness! At a time of mass enforcement actions threatening to separate families, faith communities must lead with courage, declaring the sacred moral vision to welcome immigrants as our siblings and stand against policies that tear communities apart. Sanctuary is an ancient and sacred tradition across many faiths—one of accompaniment, protection, and solidarity. The Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity has cultivated a network of 100+ sanctuary congregations in California to support immigrants and those targeted for deportation. For the past seven years, we have partnered with the Japanese American Religious Federation and other faith communities for an annual Day of Remembrance interfaith service. This interfaith prayer and ritual will reaffirm sanctuary and uplift the legacy of Japanese immigrants and Japanese American families who, in 1942, were forcibly separated and relocated to incarceration camps. |

9. Thursday, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Documentary Screening & Post Screening Panel: The Palestine Exception
UCSF
Cole Hall
513 Parnassus
SF
The Palestine Exception tells the story of the largest anti-war movement since the 1970s as students, faculty, and staff demand divestment from companies doing business with Israel and an end to the war in Gaza. The documentary unfolds as a story of college campuses as sites of both rebellion and repression, places where personal and collective histories converge in unexpected ways.
After decades of right-wing assaults on higher education, conservatives have partnered with academic institutional leadership in intensified attacks on free speech and academic freedom for those advocating for the rights and safety of Palestinians.
The Palestine Exception opens as college encampments that seeded a global student-led anti-imperial, anti-war movement have withstood these violent assaults and now vow to continue their liberatory organizing.
Join our SJP, FSJP at UCSF and community as we host a screening of this film and a post screening panel discussion with Dr Jess Ghannam (FSJP at UCSF) and guests.

Bernal Hill
SF
Nr #67 MUNI
All are welcomed to join Alex’s parents Refugio and Elvira Nieto on the 21st of each month as they remember Alex. It’s been over 10years since Alex was killed.
On March 21, 2014, Alex was murdered by SFPD officers Jason Sawyer, Richard Schiff, Nathan Chew, and Roger Morse, with 59 bullets.
DA Gacon (at the time) declined to file criminal charges against the officers. DA Jenkins let the attorney go who was working pm the case under Chesa Boudin.
There is still no justice for SFPD’s execution of Alex nor of any other victims of SFPD’s executions.
The new Memorial is still in the works.

Free documentary
We will be screening THE BIBI FILES, the 2024 documentary from an Oscar-winning team exposing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu and the years-long investigations against him by Israeli authorities for corruption charges. Netanyahu’s quest to delay his own trial is central to understanding both his unrelenting assault on Palestine as well as his overhaul of the Israeli judicial system. Incorporating never-before-seen interrogation footage leaked to the filmmakers, this investigative documentary from 2024 offers a unique gaze into a startling world of political maneuvering and its devastating effects.
