First they came for the homeless
Photos of the notice police taped to tents. Kate Harrison has indicated she did not know those vouchers were 24 hours and is checking into it.
The city has attempted to portray that those displaced protesters were offered something, and refused. They have served notice. Kate’s statement is enough warning. They are coming. Right now, we have displaced shelter residents under threat of a potentially lethal police action. Two of these displaced are terminal, and one was just taken by ambulance to the hospital.
We do not know when they are coming. Barbara Brust is keeping watch overnight. She is asking for company.
We need supporters to show up early each morning for the next couple of days. Bring cameras. And please bring coffee.
