While action from the Senate this week gives some funding to reduce emissions, it also bakes in more dangerous warming with hand-outs to fossil fuel corporations that will continue to threaten frontline communities. Biden’s next step must be declaring a national climate emergency and using the tools at his disposal to bring climate justice to our communities, radically reduce emissions, and set the course for a thriving future.
