RSVP: Press Conference & Protest: Justice for Sean Moore · San Francisco Rising Action Fund (mobilize.us)
We are coming together for a protest on Wednesday, July 12th at 11am outside the Hall of Justice (850 Bryant Street) after DA Brooke Jenkins decided to drop the charges against the SFPD police officer, Kenneth Cha who murdered Sean Moore.
The attorney from the DA’s office, Darby Williams, (who manages the Independent Investigations Bureau in the DA’s office) broke the news to Sean Moore’s family, one day after she stood in court and scheduled a preliminary hearing to move the case forward. The DA’s office has put Sean Moore’s family through physical and emotional turmoil by dragging out this case and misleading them about where it was going. We need to call her out for her inaction to hold police accountable in not just this case, but 2 other police misconduct cases that her office inherited.
– On May 19th her office officially dismissed the case against former SFPD officer Christopher Samayoa, for the killing of Keita O’Neil
– On May 11, 2023, Jenkins dismissed the charges on SFPD’s officer Christopher Flores for the shooting of Jamaica Hampton
We stand in solidarity with the family of Sean Moore who are outraged at this injustice as, once again, DA Jenkins demonstrates her complete lack of commitment to hold police officers accountable in San Francisco. Victims of police violence deserve a DA who will fight for their rights as survivors of crime.
