Paul Weyrich, the founder of ALEC, The American Legislative Exchange Council, giving a speech in which he said “I don’t want people to vote….In fact, our leverage goes up as the voting populace goes down.”
ALEC is made up of corporations, the super-wealthy like the Koch Brothers, and right wing, Republican legislators whose goal is to trample on the constitution and our rights to further their greed and domination.
