I am thrilled to share that RIP Medical Debt has won the NYC Imagine Award for Innovation!
This is a competitive award with hundreds of nonprofit applicants and only four finalists.We were surprised and humbled to learn live at the awards ceremony that RIP Medical Debt won!
The Innovation award acknowledges nonprofits “who are innovative in their actions and operations, who are impactful on both a micro and macro perspective, who are significantly advancing programs and the sector on a regular basis….and who understand the need to effectively collaborate to leverage results.â
With this $5,000 award, we will abolish $500,000 of burdensome medical debt for families across the country! To receive this recognition is further confirmation that our model and approach resonates.
