Toklas LGBTQ Democratic Club membership voted on Monday November 13, 2023 to affirm the Alice PAC’s recommendation for an early endorsement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi in her re-election to Congress.Alice is proud to early-endorse Speaker Emerita Pelosi, a longtime friend of Alice and champion of LGBTQ rights. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has led the most diverse democratic controlled House of Representatives in history with dignity, respect, and unparalleled political skill. She has also led the way on landmark legislation including the passage of a gun safety bill to enhance background checks on firearm purchases and a reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act. She has worked tirelessly to elect Democrats across the country and is a force to be reckoned with.
