[Note from JK: What a piece. “Kamala is not a “woman in power”. She is a woman CONTROLLED by power.” And OMG! You MUST watch the first embedded video of Estee Palti. She is brilliant! But regarding the part of the article where the author goes off about a handful of individual women she admires, although their stories are harrowing, I don’t relate to the author placing them on a higher level just because they are women. There have been so many other human beings who have also suffered injustices and abuse under governmental rule, and not just those that are Islamic. My orientation is as a human rights advocate. I eschew identity politics because it is divisive. And I have only done some superficial research on these women. Ayaan Hirsi Ali was already familiar to me. She was (perhaps still is) a darling of the bunch Ben Shapiro hangs with. And she is a Zionist. I can’t say the same for the others though.]
