Times Of India May 15, 2025 Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, was arrested in the U.S. Senate for protesting American support for Israel in the Gaza war. During a live hearing featuring Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., Cohen interrupted proceedings, accusing Congress of “killing kids in Gaza” while slashing U.S. Medicaid. He and six others were forcibly removed, with charges including obstruction and resisting arrest. If convicted, Cohen could face jail time and fines.
