Your weekly to-dos
- Make a plan to vote in your local elections by next Tuesday, November 4. Election Day is next Tuesday, and millions of Americans have a chance to elect important local leaders — judges, council members, school boards, and more — crucial to defending and rebuilding democracy. If you haven’t already, make a plan to cast your vote!
- If you have a GOP representative, tell them to seat Adelita Grijalva and stop the Epstein Cover-up. Grijalva won her special election to Congress more than a month ago, but Speaker Johnson still refuses to swear her in — likely because she’s the last signature needed to force a vote on the Epstein Files. Email your rep to demand they put pressure on Johnson.
- Call your Democratic senators and ask them to keep standing strong in the Trump Shutdown showdown. So far, Senate Democrats have remained strong and (nearly) unified in opposition of Republicans’ healthcare-crushing budget deal. We need to keep reminding them we’re behind them as they fight for affordable care!
- Join our Virginia Call-A-Thon this weekend to get out the vote and help elect a Democratic trifecta in VA! Virginians can flip the governor’s mansion and build a blue trifecta in next Tuesday’s election, so we’re calling into VA all weekend to help Dems at every level win. Join our call-a-thon from anywhere. All you need is your phone and a computer, and we offer a live training before each shift!
- CA Indivisibles: Sign up for Neighbor2Neighbor to knock doors on your time ahead of critical ballot measures. To thwart Republicans’ attempt to gain permanent control of the House, we need to give our likeminded neighbors a nudge to vote by November 4! Our innovative Neighbor2Neighbor program lets you canvass your neighborhood on your time.

To ratchet up pressure on House Republicans even further, we’re rolling out billboards in six key Republican districts — calling swingable House Republicans out by name for sitting back as healthcare costs spiral.
