Communities in Prince Rupert, Canada have blocked the Israeli ZIM-operated Volans ship! ILWU Local 505 port workers in Prince Rupert have honored community pickets organized by First Nation, Arab, and allied community members preventing ZIM from unloading cargo. This is the same ZIM-operated Volans ship that Oakland communities blocked and turned away just over a week ago after ILWU Local 10 workers also honored community pickets led by AROC.

This also comes as @Falastiniyat in Seattle have so far successfully prevented another Israeli ZIM ship (ZIMM SAN DIEGO) from being unloaded. The Israeli ZIM company is quickly realizing that their apartheid-profiteering ships and business are not welcome at any port on the West Coast from Oakland, to Seattle, to Prince Rupert! WE ARE WINNING!

Communities in Prince Rupert are calling on people to join them now at the port to ensure that the ship does not get unloaded during the night shift! Text your name to (855) 713-2006 to get live updates.

The Consulate General of Israel, based in San Francisco, which oversees the Pacific Northwest, is pressuring Seattle public officials to have ILWU Local 19 unload its apartheid-stained cargo — after workers have honored community pickets preventing Israeli ZIM Shipping Co. from unloading.
