PDAMERICA • Streamed live 9 hours ago One thing we know for sure: across the late summer and fall PDA will be working non-stop to defeat Donald Trump and the neo-fascist MAGA movement—and that means electing Kamala Harris President, along with Democrats up and down the ballot across the entire country! Join us this Sunday as we will be finalizing our strategy session on how PDA will be working to achieve these essential goals. As a prelude to the discussion, we will announce the results of our Presidential straw poll—and, informed by those results, continue the conversation about a formal endorsement in the race. We will also be announcing the program for Progressive Central 2024, which will be held at the Chicago Teachers Union Hall on Sunday and Monday, August 18-19. Of course, Progressive Central itself is a major component of PDA’s strategy for the fall, as the primary goal of the conference is to inspire progressives to mobilize for electoral victory; just as it will lay out a pathway to achieve the broader progressive goals that PDA stands for. Indeed, Progressive Central 2024 aims to make clear to all progressives why a victory in the fall of 2024 is a necessary prelude to greater progressive victories in the remaining years of the 2020s.
