JD Vance said that he was “focused on the future.” “That’s a damning non-answer,” Walz responded. Vance said during the CBS Vice Presidential Debate that while “Donald Trump and I think that there were problems in 2020” and that he was happy to discuss it further, he considered the Democratic Party’s attacks on First Amendment rights to be threats to democracy.
