- Yesterday, ICE shot and injured Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, a 28-year-old DoorDash driver from Venezuela. Wilber is the third DoorDash driver known to have been shot by ICE, but the company has remained silent — and complicit. Delete your DoorDash app and account until they take decisive action to protect their drivers from ICE. Instead of speaking out against the Trump regime’s deportation and death machine that has brutalized their workers, DoorDash is lobbying for the regime’s legislative priorities — including a bill that would weaken DC home rule. If you’re in Texas, we encourage you to get synced up with Indivisibles and others in Austin demanding justice for Wilber and for their community. If you’re not, make sure to amplify their call for accountability, and call out DoorDash by deleting your account and app until the company speaks out against ICE’s brutality and violence.

Iowa’s current congressional delegation are all Republicans who have bent the knee to Trump while forgoing their constituents’ needs.
