Dr. Farzon Nahvi is an emergency medicine physician and a member of the PNHP NY Metro Advisory Board. He testified before Congress in support of single payer in 2019, and recently published a memoir, Code Gray: Death, Life, and Uncertainty in the Emergency Room.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed is the former Health Director for the City of Detroit. He also testified before Congress in support of single payer (in 2022), and delivered the keynote address at PNHP’s 2019 Annual Meeting. He is the co-author (with Dr. Micah Johnson) of the essential Medicare for All: A Citizen’s Guide.
