CCSF Board of Trustees

The resolution declaring CCSF’s interest in entering into negotiations with the City and County of San Francisco over the Balboa Reservoir was tabled at the last meeting. We need to show up again and make it clear that the trustees need to fight for the interests of City College and its students. Going along with the mayor’s gentrification plan further pushes our community out of San Francisco.

We don’t expect the city and the private developers who are pushing the plan to care. However, we demand that our own trustees act proactively for the interests of  City College and its students.

Tell CCSF BOT that they must Ensure that public land stay in public hands. Tell them to pass the resolution asking the PUC to transfer the Balboa Reservoir to CCSF rather than hand over public land to private developers.
