Last week, during the debate over Jeff Sessions’ confirmation as attorney general, Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and every Senate Republican silenced Sen. Warren when she tried to read Coretta Scott King’s searing 1986 indictment of Jeff Sessions’ racism on the Senate floor. McConnell’s outrageous attack on Sen. Warren and the backlash that followed show that we can pressure Republicans into making major, public errors when we highlight their extremist agenda and keep the pressure on. But our work is not done. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Sen. Warren is joining us for a special call to celebrate CREDO members’ massive opposition to Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda, including his swamp cabinet, and talk about how we will use this momentum to oppose and resist Trump’s dangerous agenda every step of the way.
