There are less than 9 weeks until the critical November election, and what we do between now and then will shape the future of our health care.
We started Nurses for Democracy to fight back against fascism and protect our democracy, but also to elect candidates in key races who are committed to nurses’ values, including minimum RN-to-patient ratios in all hospitals across the country, protecting the rights of workers to organize, and guaranteeing health care for all. Every candidate we are supporting is a strong supporter of Medicare for All, and helping them win their elections will help prove the strength of our movement.
We can make sure our candidates win, but only if we work together. That’s why we’re hosting a Nurses for Democracy General Election Launch Call to mobilize support ahead of November — and we need you with us. RSVP now to save your spot!
Nurses for Democracy General Election Launch Call
When: Tuesday, Sep 15 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT
On the call, we’ll hear from nurse leaders across the country and unveil our plans to build support for our endorsed candidates between now and November. Then, we’ll have an opportunity for you to get trained on phone banking and even make a few calls supporting one of our candidates. You won’t want to miss it!
With the November election fast approaching, we must take action to protect our democracy and fight for the future that we all deserve. Join our Nurses for Democracy General Election Launch Call to learn how you can be part of the movement and make a difference.
Can’t make our Launch Call on 9/15? You can still get involved! Click here to join our Nurses for Democracy email list, where you’ll receive updates on the work we’re doing and how you can join us.
In solidarity,
National Nurses United
