Medicare for All Car Caravan

California’s legislative session has officially begun, and our time to pass single-payer health care in California is NOW.

Health care is a human right, and the ability to pay should never determine whether someone receives care. We need a health care system in California built around patient care, instead of a system dedicated to making profit for insurance corporations and Big Pharma.

If you agree, it’s time to grab your car 🔑 for this Saturday’s CalCare Day of Action on January 8. There will be car caravans across the state calling on the State Assembly to pass AB 1400, the California Guaranteed Health Care for All Act.

We’re hosting a huge flagship car rally in Sacramento, followed by a car caravan to the Capitol – and fourteen additional car caravans are being hosted by volunteers across the state. We need a huge turnout to show the widespread support for CalCare, so we’re asking:

Here are the event details:

With Omicron surging, car caravans are a great way for us to demonstrate our power and put pressure on our Assemblymembers while staying safe. We’re encouraging everyone to stay in their cars for the entirety of these events.

For each event, we’ll gather at a designated meeting point and then drive along a pre-set route. Most of the routes for these actions include ending at or passing by the office of a key Assemblymember.
