Separated Children At The Border
Friday, May 17, 2019, 6:30pm
Unitarian Universalist Center 1187 Franklin Street @ Geary Blvd.
In the powerful new Frontline documentary Separated : Children At The Border produced by Marcela Gaviria and Martine Smith we examine the inside story of what happened to immigrant children separated from their parents.
With on the ground reporting both at the border and in Central America we explore the impact of Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy and how both Trump and Obama dealt with minors at the border. Powerful in it’s depiction of the human cost of “zero tolerance” the documentary Separated: Children At The Border is a timely reminder of what is at stake in the ongoing war on immigrants.
