Tomorrow, join the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Harvey Milk LGBTQ Democratic Club for our monthly PAC Meeting.
This will be a hybrid meeting, at **541 Castro St.** and bit.ly/milkpac. Please note the change in usual meeting location.
September 18th is both Aging Awareness Day and National HIV / AIDS Day, and the third anniversary since the SF Principles (thesfprinciples.org) were launched. At this PAC meeting, we will focus on elder justice in honor of these milestones. The following segments are scheduled:
  • What’s next for Laguna Honda? With Terry Palmer, M.D., Geriatrics / Family Medicine, and Board Member, San Francisco Gray Panthers
  • Howard Grayson LGBT Elder Life Conference update with convenor and Milk board member Sue Englander
  • Long-term survivor (LTS) justice & SF Principles with HIV Caucus Chair Michael Rouppet and Vince Crisostomo, Director of Aging Services, SF AIDS Foundation
  • Transportation Justice Plank draft revisit (draft available @ tinyurl.com/milktransportation; time-permitting)
We will also hold our endorsement recommendation vote for the Oakland School Board District 5 November 2023 special election, including candidate interviews. Find all submitted candidate questionnaires here: milkclub.org/endorsements.

Finally, we will hear a brief PAC Team update on rest-of-year programming, including 2024 electoral programming.

Don’t miss it!
