Tomorrow, join the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Harvey Milk LGBTQ Democratic Club for our monthly PAC Meeting.
This will be a hybrid meeting, at **541 Castro St.** and bit.ly/milkpac. Please note the change in usual meeting location.
September 18th is both Aging Awareness Day and National HIV / AIDS Day, and the third anniversary since the SF Principles ( thesfprinciples.org) were launched. At this PAC meeting, we will focus on elder justice in honor of these milestones. The following segments are scheduled:
- What’s next for Laguna Honda? With Terry Palmer, M.D., Geriatrics / Family Medicine, and Board Member, San Francisco Gray Panthers
- Howard Grayson LGBT Elder Life Conference update with convenor and Milk board member Sue Englander
- Long-term survivor (LTS) justice & SF Principles with HIV Caucus Chair Michael Rouppet and Vince Crisostomo, Director of Aging Services, SF AIDS Foundation
- Transportation Justice Plank draft revisit (draft available @ tinyurl.com/milktransportation; time-permitting)
We will also hold our endorsement recommendation vote for the Oakland School Board District 5 November 2023 special election, including candidate interviews. Find all submitted candidate questionnaires here: milkclub.org/endorsements.
Finally, we will hear a brief PAC Team update on rest-of-year programming, including 2024 electoral programming.
