This “I-Hotel Speaks” event will be a celebration of cross-cultural experiences!

Our special guests this evening wil be the award-winning Tahitian ensebmle Tiare O Te Ao. We’re so happy to have them back to share a performance for the community!

We’ll start the evening off at 6pm with our hands-on, all-levels-welcome Philippine Kulintang music workshop, “Kommunity Kulintang”.

At 7pm The Autonomous Region will be taking over with their final community conversation/demo on the kulintang-jazz fusion body of work they’re developing for the San Francisco Arts Commission. Please take advantage of this last time to engage with the ensemble on a song-by-song level before the piece becomes a seamless performance.

And then at 8pm Tiare O Te Ao takes it out with their usual high energy performance.

And don’t forget to peruse our latest art exhibit while you’re at the International Hotel Manilatown Center: We Are America and enjoy our usual treats from BogBerry Bakery.

As always, this I-Hotel Speaks event is FREE and Family-Friendly.
