We’ve been snuggled up with warm mugs, and we hope you have too. But it’s time to haul ourselves out of holiday stupor and get to politickin’. There’s an election in February, and this coming Thursday December 16th at 6pm we’ll meet up to discuss it.

We’ll be making endorsement decisions for the Assembly District 17 Special Election, School Board Recall, and Assessor-Recorder Race for the Feb 15th election. Horrifyingly, there are in fact four elections next year  so we’ll also provide a guided tour of that shitshow.

We will be meeting in person, with proof of vaccination and masks required. It’ll be lovely to see the (top half of) your faces! The meeting is at 6:00pm at the Secret Alley – 180 Capp St, 2nd floor, dial #530 at the callbox.

The Secret Alley currently has an in-person capacity of 25 people, so we will be prioritizing current League members. If you are certain you will attend, please respond to this email to RSVP.

If you are unable or uncomfortable with attending in person, please respond to this email for the Zoom info. We will gladly awkwardly balance your laptop-hosted face on a chair!

Finally, remember that the public is welcome at this meeting, but only League members can vote for our endorsements (those who have donated and volunteered in the last year). More info on our endorsement process is posted here.
